Anglophone crisis: soldier found dead in Buea

A soldier was reportedly founded dead this morning in the locality of Muea, Buea, South West Region of Cameroon under unknown circumstances, sources have confirmed.

According go local sources, the corpse was found early this morning with wounds though not clear if they are bullet wounds but locals say no gunshots were heard around the vicinity at night.

The discovery of the corpse was just a sign of things to come as gunshots were heard from the Mile 16 neighbourhood at the entrance to Buea after armed men blocked the road as early as 5am.

Sources say, the armed men invaded Mile 16 as early as 5am blocking the road and reportedly setting a seventy-seater bus on fire.

Security forces are said to have arrived the scene about an hour late when the armed men had taken off the area remains under tension as locals have remained indoors.
