After serious debates, the judge adjourned the case to January 22. 2020 on the grounds that the decision awaited by the spouses has not yet been drafted.
The complainant did not fail to express dissatisfaction with the dismissal of the case which, in his opinion, is a drawback to his Christian commitments.
He openly stated that his wife has signed a Satanic pact with her late husband. and is about to eliminate him just like she did with her previous lovers.
“I did not want to start a New Year knowing that this woman is still my wife. My sins will not be washed. I should be able to turn the page of my life this New Year,” the pastor stated.
“Postponing this case to January would be indirectly casting me to hell for another year,” he added.
However, the pastor’s wife still hopes to reconcile with her husband.
She disclosed in court that before the hearing, her husband organised several family meetings to seek ways of solving the problem, which to her, was a sign of reconciliation.
“He has behaved well with me for the last two weeks. I thought that God had finally touched his heart and that he was going to tell you today that he is giving up the divorce,” she lamented.
She was, however, shocked that the pastor maintained his demands for divorce in court.
It should be said that the pastor and his wife have been married for six years and have been blessed with three children.
